2024 Round Up
As 2025 draws closer I can’t help but look back at the past year and have immense gratitude for everything that has happened, especially within the last 6 months!
At the end of July the intense part of my mother’s cancer treatment was over and she pulled through! Since then I have hit the ground running with my art business, treating it like the full-time job I was yearning to build up into reality while life had its own plans.
Not only have I managed to sell at 26 different markets around London since July, but I’ve also had my art prints and greeting cards stocked in multiple shops for people to buy!
I have to give a big shout out to any and all vendors I met along the way, because I will have to say that my favourite part of every market day was chatting to other creatives working hard at what they do to make their goals come to fruition.
During 2024 I have also been lucky enough to have my work accepted into and included in a few exhibitions / publications! Attending private views is such an exciting experience when you get to see your own work amongst others’ - though it can also be pretty daunting, and hard not to compare your skill to others!
And last, but not least, I have to say the biggest thanks to you. Whoever has checked out my website or bought something from me at a market, thank you so much. Aside from connecting with other creators, this year has taught me just how much I enjoy connecting with you all.
Connecting over art, and the reasons that some speak to us more than others, is such a rewarding conversation I get to have with so many different people when I’m selling at markets. It makes me appreciate what life is for and how we are all interconnected to each other. Thank you.
