Shop Launch!

While launching this website has been a long process of love and care, the element that kept me working the longest was the shop!

I had so many ideas of products I wanted to make, produce and share with the world. The problem was that I hadn’t experienced all the layers of work that go into adding a product to a store page (beyond the creation of the design in the first place)!

As is typical with me, I had to try to reel myself in to create something that was obtainable and a good-quality starting point. That’s why I’m so proud of the three paintings I have focused on and turned into products that I know I would like to buy! Even as an artist, I find myself often buying postcards, greeting cards, or stickers of art instead of original pieces, and so I thought the best way to share my art would be to make sure they came in those forms.

I could write an entire separate post on how tedious and elaborate it was to start understanding the printer and colours that would come out, I can finally say that I have been able to step up my skill in technical ability for this shop launch!
