Gouache Painting accepted into upcoming London exhibition!

I'm so pleased to proudly announced that my painting 'Nourishing Summer Evening' is going to be on display and available to buy from the Mall Galleries this month at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours Exhibition!

• Exhibition: 25th March - 11th April
• Location: Mall Galleries, The Mall near Trafalgar Square, London, SW1Y 5BD
• Private View: 24th March (17:00-21:00)

This painting, which I finished in December, is one of many gouache still life works that present scenes of human connection through the medium of sharing food. I like to use these still lives to imply human life without directly showing it, by depicting the objects and chaos of everyday life in the spaces. 

I had put this piece on the back burner for many months, and so am especially proud that it didn't get forgotten or left unfinished. It makes me so happy to know that the judges for the exhibition also liked it enough to accept it!

To anyone interested in attending the Private View on the 24th March, feel free to show this image at reception to gain access and enjoy the evening, where you'll hear speeches and get to enjoy viewing all the high quality artwork for sale in the exhibition.
