This original acrylic painting was painted en plein air in Church Stretton, a beautiful area in England near the border of Wales. It was the dead of summer and so I settled underneath the shade of the tree, making the most of this lovely scene that contained organic leaves and orthoganol man-made forms. The shadows are strong, and in the distance the shadows of the forest trees are almost blue compared to the brightly lit shrubbery along the path. Unframed.
