'Knobbly Trees' Oil Painting

This original painting was inspired by the work of Van Gogh and the Impressionists. The painting depicts a streetview of terraced houses in London, lit by the sun while winter trees stand in front, while behind is a blue sky. The leafless trees may take the foreground, but the warmth of the diagonal streak of warm sunlight takes the focus and brings to mind the feeling of looking forward to the thawing out of winter.
